Barakah Culture Bulletin | Rabi' Al-Awwal Edition

Events, Podcasts, Programs & More

Assalamu'alaikum,

Here’s a quick pulse of what’s happening at the Productive Muslim Company! We are starting this newsletter to share upcoming programs, community updates, and resources — helping you stay connected and inspired on all things spirituality, productivity, and Barakah Culture.

📷 Event Highlights

Last month, Mohammed Faris visited Orange County, California, and hosted a series of inspiring community events. The trip began with a full-day Productivity Workshop for the teachers of Orange Crescent School, equipping educators with tools to bring Barakah into their classrooms. Later that evening, the Rahma Center welcomed a vibrant audience for a Meet the Author session on The Barakah Effect—a heartfelt discussion followed by a lively Q&A. To end the week, the Islamic Society of Orange County hosted The Barakah Tree as part of their Friday Family Night, where parents and kids kept Mohammed on his toes with their questions and reflections. Alhamdulillah, we’re deeply grateful to everyone who showed up and made these gatherings meaningful. If you’d like a copy of The Barakah Effect or The Barakah Tree—for yourself, your family, or as a thoughtful gift—you can find them in our online store.

Last Saturday, we held an engaging webinar titled “Cultivate Barakah-Driven Balance in Your Professional Life”, hosted by Latifa Mak, Community Manager of Barakah Culture Community. The conversation was aimed at high-achieving professionals who feel accomplished in their careers but spiritually disconnected. We were joined by a highly engaged audience and had a dynamic live discussion featuring alumni of the Barakah Effect Program, who shared powerful takeaways from their journeys through the program.

📅 New Programs This Month

We have two upcoming programs taught LIVE by Mohammed Faris himself. Don’t miss them:

The Barakah Effect Program has just kicked off with an Onboarding Call last Thursday! Module 1 starts tomorrow at 9:00 am US Central time. This program is all about helping you transform how you approach work, wealth, and life through a proven 7-pillar Barakah framework.

The Productive Muslim Program 1447H is starting on 6 Rabi'-II 1447H (29 September 2025)! This is a faith-based productivity system designed specifically for high-performing Muslim professionals.

🎟️ Upcoming Event

Mohammed Faris will be taking part in the upcoming QIYADA Conference in Qatar on September 19-20 — a powerful gathering focused on shaping ethical, purpose-driven leadership in the Muslim world. He will be hosting a workshop titled “Barakah Effect: How to Win More Today Without Losing Your Soul”. If you’re based in Qatar or the region, this is something you don’t want to miss.

💡 Community Spotlight

Faizaan Radwi,
Canada

When Faizaan Radwi joined the Barakah Effect program, he brought with him two decades of high-stakes corporate experience advising Fortune 500 companies and governments. By every external measure, he was successful—but something was missing. Through the Barakah Effect, Faizaan discovered a new lens to view his work, family, and faith. As he puts it:

“Coming from a corporate, overly structured, black and white environment, my expectation for the course was naturally to follow those dynamics. My first ‘aha moment’ was realizing that I was in fact, an ‘active part’ of this course, rather than a pure recipient... In the weeks that followed, in addition to ‘actually learning’ concepts that I thought I always knew, I also learnt a little more about myself—someone who I thought I must surely know quite well. I was wrong.”

Just like Faizaan discovered, sometimes the most profound transformations happen when we stop trying to force frameworks and start allowing ourselves to truly experience the journey.
