How The Productive Muslim Book changed my life
Quick announcement: I'm running a free live webinar this Saturday on How to publish your spiritual self-help book in 12 months or less. Click here to reserve your spot.
Assalamu'alaikum,
Many people think publishing a book in a world distracted by social media is not worth it.
Trust me - it's worth it!
In January 2016, my book "The Productive Muslim: Where Faith Meets Productivity" was released. And even though it didn't start with a bang - yet alhamdulillah, over the last seven years, I've seen tremendous ROI from the book, including:
It established me as an author.
It established my credibility as a ‘productivity expert.’
It catalyzed me to go full-time into running The Productive Muslim Company.
It got me invited to several international conferences and corporate workshops.
Till today, it's my best business card!
On more than one occasion, I had a person read the book and then email me asking me how to attend my online programs or if I could run a private workshop for their company/family.
I'm sharing this with you because if you doubt whether going through the pain and effort of writing a book is worth it - I'm here to tell you that it is worth every step.
Even if you argue that your book might not be super popular - let's assume a worst-case scenario and only 100 people read your book. It'll still be worth it because it will::
Establish yourself as an author
Establish your credibility in your topic since you wrote a book on it
Leave a lasting legacy of beneficial knowledge that at least your children/grandchildren can benefit from.
Don't underestimate the power of publishing a book, and if you're interested in writing a book, then join me this Saturday for a webinar on "How to publish your spiritual self-help book in 12 months or less," where I'll cover:
The importance of nurturing more Muslim self-help authors
My journey as an author (the good times and bad times)
Why writing a book is within your reach, even if you don't consider yourself a writer
The common excuses people use to avoid writing and how to overcome them
An insight into the systematic process of transforming an intention into a published book
The next steps if you're ready to dive into our upcoming book-writing masterclass
I look forward to having you on Saturday and us working together towards your next book insha'Allah.
Sincerely,
