From Fortune 500 success to true barakah: Faizaan’s unexpected journey
Al Salam Alaikum,
When Faizaan Radwi first joined the Barakah Effect program, he brought with him two decades of high-stakes experience advising Fortune 500 giants like PepsiCo, Unilever, and General Motors. He’d guided governments through crises- including leading communication plans during the coronavirus outbreak and supporting countries in developing communication strategies for their transformational 2030 visions. He was the strategic mind behind a 6-company overhaul, spanning four countries.
By every external measure, Faizaan was successful.
But something was missing.
Today, this father of two- who balances being a business advisor to small businesses and mid-stage startups with pursuing his hobbies and interests- wants to share his transformation story with you.

Bismillah!
After Bismillah, I’d like to start by saying that doing the Barakah Effect program, was definitely not what I expected.
Coming from a corporate, overly structured, black and white environment, my expectation for the course was naturally to follow those dynamics. My first ‘aha moment’ was realizing that I was in fact, an ‘active part’ of this course, rather than a pure recipient. That in itself, was a bit of a game changer for me, in how I engaged and took in the knowledge being shared. It seemed natural. I remember I stopped taking ‘detailed notes’ early on - and decided to focus on ‘feeling’ and ‘reflecting’ on what was being said. Decided to ‘live the notes’, rather than write them. I won’t lie, but that was perhaps the first sense of Barakah I felt - just in the act of learning it.
In the weeks that followed, in addition to ‘actually learning’ concepts that I thought I always knew, I also learnt a little more about myself - someone who I thought I must surely know quite well. I was wrong. Some classes I discovered things that I was generally ignorant of - but it was the sessions where I thought I already knew things, that really moved me. The lens of Barakah, on the simplest things we think we know, was the most impactful to me. The occasional but loud aha ‘moments’, turned into a quieter but ongoing drone of an ‘ahaaaaa’ for me.
I’d recommend this program to anyone who has struggles in life. I’d also recommend this to anyone who thinks that they don’t have struggles in life. Those are the only two categories in my opinion. Alhamdolillah.
And if you have a family, a wife, kids, or friends that you break bread with, talk to them about everything you learn. It’s free. Kinda like Barakah!
